DVI-I TO DVI-I DUAL LINK M/M-3M

DVI, or Digital Video Interface cables are used to connect very high quality flat panel LCD monitors and high-end video graphic cards. Be sure that you use the correct type. There are DVI-A used for analog to analog, DVI-D used for digital to digital, and DVI-I works either an analog or digital signal. Generally a DVI-I port will be marked as “DVI-I”. The DVI-D is most often used between a high quality video card and an LCD monitor. To make matters more confusing, there are single-link and dual-link DVI-I cables; check your equipment’s specifications to be sure to select the correct cable. Video quality will be diminished if cable length exceeds the industry standard of five meters (about 16 ft.). If you are not sure which you need, single or dual link, use the dual link. The dual link is “downward compatible” and will handle either job.
