SWING-ARM MAGNIFIER LAMP This new swing-arm lamp is surely the best design in this lamp style in a century. In addition to providing excellent light from a halo of stingy* LED’s this lamp has a “usability” that, without question, makes it a pleasure to own. When clamped on to a table or desk edge, the lamp can easily be moved smoothly to any location above your work surface and it stays in place; no more fighting the lamp’s springs the way we had to do with past generations. YOU decide where it will go, without argument. Viewing through the magnifying lens, lighting is balanced, shadow-free, making magnified objects highly visible; perfect for checking a PC board for errors, inspecting tiny gear works etc. A circle of LED’s provides light that surounds all of the smallest parts for error free inspections or trouble free assembly work. The new model No.63-114 has precise, 5" diameter diopter lens that provides detail for inspection, cleaning or very fine assembly work. (A 3-diopter alternative lens is available if less magnification is wanted.) Alens cover will protect the lens from dust when it is not in use. The lamp is nicely finished with a medium white, tough baked safety requirements. Operation is from 110-120 VAC @ 5W; the unit is equipped with a 4-1/2 ft. 2-prong power cord.
