About NTE Electronics: NTE was the industry leader in semiconductor replacement devices. NTE was best known for their cross reference and ease of availability to over 5000 devices. NTE developed and combined a comprehensive cross reference guide from over 60 years of other replacement lines such as GE, Motorola, RCA (SK replacements), Sylvania (ECG replacement). NTE and also once known as TCG acquired Sylvania’s ECG replacement devices which use the same replacement numbering system. Still today some of Elliott Electronic Supplies inventory devices maybe labeled with these older device numbers / packaging TCG, ECG (Sylvania), GE, REN (Raytheon), RCA (SK devices). Note that NTE was not a manufacture of semiconductors. NTE had one of the most extensive semiconductor replacement lines in the industry. Upon NTE dissolving in 2024 they cross referenced over 525,000 industry part numbers into their replacement line of semiconductors. Elliott Electronic Supply still has and maintains many of the NTE replacement line devices with original NTE devices, OEM Original Manufacture replacement devices, plus new old stock inventory.
